Welcome to Merrywood Elementary!

I am honored and excited to begin this new role as Assistant Principal at Merrywood Elementary. For the past ten years, I have had the privilege of watching our students learn, grow, and achieve. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving them in a new capacity by supporting both their academic success and their sense of belonging within our school community.

I believe every student has the ability to achieve their goals with encouragement, determination, and the right support. My goal is to be a positive role model and a trusted resource for our students, staff, and families each day. I am committed to helping create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where every child can thrive.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and caring for our "mini farm." My husband, Jordan, and I have two wonderful daughters, Molly (5) and Madelyn (3), who keep us busy and laughing. We also have two golden retrievers—who are very much part of the family—along with chickens and goats.

I earned my bachelor's degree from Lander University and my master's degree from Grand Canyon University. I look forward to partnering with our dedicated staff and wonderful families as we continue to support and celebrate our students throughout the school year. I am excited for all that lies ahead and am proud to be part of the Merrywood Elementary community.
