About Mrs. Turner

Hi! I am the library media specialist at Merrywood Elementary. I grew up in Belton, SC and graduated from Belton-Honea Path High School. I received a BA degree in English from Erskine College and a MLIS from USC. I have my national board certification in Media Science. I now reside in Ware Shoals with my husband, Mike, my daughter, Erin, our dog and four cats.

 

My number one goal as an educator is to foster a love of reading. I believe that everyone has it within themselves to love to read. It is my job to help pair the students with the books that will interest them in order to foster that love of reading.
